The route
Coast to bay,
and back again.
Start in Inverkip at low tide. The first 3 km drop you onto forest singletrack heading north, then it's one honest climb up onto the headland for the only view that matters — the Firth of Clyde stretched out to the horizon.
From the top it's a fast, runnable descent on grass and dirt down to Lunderston Bay, a beach turn at the halfway point, and a coastal return leg back into Inverkip. The last kilometre is on firm sand — finishing on the green in front of the café.
